Chi Nei Tsang in Marseille, deep belly massage

Our belly is home to several hundred million neurons. This is what science calls the enteric nervous system. A constant exchange with the brain, in particular through the vagus nerve, and research speaks here of the gut-brain axis.

It digests, it feels. It records stress, shocks, the periods we have been through.

The Taoist tradition had observed this long before the laboratories. For it, the abdomen is the center of the body, where tensions, emotions and vital energy accumulate. Chi Nei Tsang, “work on the energy of the organs”, comes from it: a slow belly massage, sometimes painful because of what we have been storing for so long. Deep and liberating, with pressures and sounds that follow the breath.

A session helps you soften your belly and deepen your breathing. It also improves digestion, which settles into a calmer rhythm. Sleep grows more peaceful, and sometimes a weight lifts. Every body responds at its own pace, and these effects can carry on in the days that follow.

Two hours to listen to your second brain and finally give it the place it deserves.
